Julia Joly was born on September 9th in São Paulo, Brazil. Of Arab descent on her father's side and  French descent on her mother's side, Julia has always known what she wanted to do since childhood: tell stories. But stories can be told in many ways… and that’s exactly what she does.

With a bachelor’s degree in Theater from Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena, a Filmmaking degree from the New York Film Academy, a Technical Degree in Music Production from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, and specializations in Musical Theater and Acting for Film also from the New York Film Academy, Julia moves seamlessly between all performing arts to tell her stories.
However, she always maintains her focus on writing, audiovisual projects, and theater.
Julia Joly also has a solo musical project and works as a Burlesque performer. By combining the two, Julia finds greater freedom as an artist. It’s where she discovers her joy and where she gets to do what she loves most: connecting with her audience, eye to eye.

Julia Joly is also an educator, working as a private vocal coach.
